模温对压铸件性能的影响

1)对力学性能的影响:适当提高模具温度,可以改善充填条件,使铸件力学性能提高,但模具温度过高,会使合金液冷却速度降低,铸件上细晶层减少,晶粒粗大,强度会有所下降,当模具温度超过250℃,强度就会下降,对伸长率而言,模温小于l 5 0℃其值会逐渐降低。


  对压铸镁合金AM50而言,当浇注温度为680℃,压射速度3.5 m/s时,当模温大于180℃时,各项力学性能均开始下降,模温过高,不仅直接影响型腔的激冷能力,力学性能降低,而且使铸件粘模,脱模困难。如果模温过低,会使冷却速度过快,导致压铸件表面形成激冷层,表面组织为细晶区,硬度高,强度和伸长率则下降,这主要是由于压铸件在凝固期,由于表面快速凝固,使合金液得不到补缩造成显微缩松和气孔所致。


  (2) 对尺寸精度的影响:同牌号的合金在同一付模具上压出的铸件,现场进行测量,其尺寸精度不完全相同,这是由于压铸工艺参数的影响,主要的影响因素为模具温度。试验证明模具温度高,尤其在连续压铸一段时间后模温上升,压铸件尺寸大,收缩率小,反之模具温度低,压铸件尺寸小,收缩率大。
